West Coast Tours and Vacations- The Guided Experience
There are many vacation experiences that travelers have the option of taking when choosing how to spend time to relax. In my opinion, the majority always defer to independent fly and drive packages – for example: the typical cruise, or perhaps a day or two in a city of choice along with a 4-star hotel to boot. Unfortunately, sticking with traditional means of travel seems to be what we’re accustomed to and comfortable with.
When travelling internationally, the thought process for the type of experience we’d like to take may change a bit. When travelling to unfamiliar territory (and by this I mean a significant change in culture, cruising, geography, laws and customs) the traveler may be more comfortable in choosing a guided excursion.
However, a lot of the same conditions apply to international travel as they do to domestic travel. The demographics and landscape of the West and East Coast of the United States are completely different.
For example, if you’re from the Northeast Coast you may be familiar with cold weather, extreme changes in seasonality, indoor activities and the like.
Travelling to the West Coast may in fact be similar to travelling internationally! The climate, seasons and everything else that goes along with it tend to be very different from the East Coast.
However, most people usually don’t think about taking a guided tour when traveling domestically in their own country. Things that bind us tend to stay the same, for example, language, cuisine, customs and the law.
Though it may still be worth the while to experience a guided vacation experience, especially to the West Coast.
The West Coast is home to some of the most diverse and renowned destinations and attractions in the world. Within the same region you have the opportunity to see destinations like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, Oceanside sightseeing along the Pacific Ocean and more. The scenery changes from rustic desert to warm and sunny beach weather.
The West Coast is home to fine dining in San Francisco and is central to many of the premier destinations in the region.
If you’d like to see the beach, then Long Beach, Venice Beach and more are not too far off.
For those interested, there are many West Coast Tour operators that include plenty of amenities in the price of the package that make the experience worthwhile for everyone involved!
